  BEWARE!!!!!! A complete RIP OFF! I only took my car here because I was under the false impression the shop was still owned an operated by Eddie who I have found to be knowledgeable, caring, and HONEST. It wasn't until I read the fine print on a business card in the shop that I realized the shop is now owned by Darren Buss "Doc". When asked why he kept the name Eddie's he said "well he already had the business so I figured it wasn't worth changing the sign" well I'd believe that if they weren't in a new location where the sign can be changed to say anything.
  I dropped by car off to have the fuel pump changed. Doc called to quote a price of $776 ($500 more than what I was expecting). I asked if it the work would be completed by the end of the day since I dropped it off the evening before. He replied "well the parts are in Marion" . I offered to have someone pick up the parts and then finally he said he could try to drive over and pick them up if worse came to worse. At 550 that evening he called and said they weren't done with the alignment so I wouldn't have my car that day. I was confused because I didn't request an alignment but they were closed by then so I had to wait.
  The next day around 2 in the afternoon I called for an update and was informed he took my car to a different mechanic for an alignment. He said they dropped it off at 1030 that morning and hadn't heard back from them yet. I never gave permission for an alignment, or for any other mechanic to work on my car. He assured me it was part of the repair and glossed over the fact that he said it was in for an alignment the day before. When I picked my care up I was told it would be $860 because it was an additional $79 for the alignment. Doc said "Well I sure am sorry, but I thought I told you" No, he didn't and I have the messages to prove it. He also failed to mention that an oil change costs $79!!!! That is highway robbery!
  Mechanics in general have a bad reputation, it is rare that you find one you can fully trust. I trusted Eddie 110% to be fair, honest, and timely. I will NEVER EVER return to Eddie's auto. I am disgusted that Doc is running his shady business under the name of such a great man. It makes it very difficult to support a local business when its operated like a mob shake down. A decent business owner is honest and upfront. There is no excuse for lying to customers by omission. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED and DISSATISFIED.
